About the Role

Join our Manufacturing Domain Consulting Group (MFGDCG) as a key domain expert who bridges the gap between manufacturing operations and digital transformation. We're seeking professionals with deep hands-on experience in manufacturing functional areas combined with expertise in implementing industrial software solutions. You will work directly with manufacturing clients to analyze their business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and design technology-enabled solutions that drive operational excellence and smart manufacturing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Process Analysis & Consulting:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of client's current manufacturing processes across various functional areas

  • Identify pain points, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities in manufacturing operations

  • Develop 'as-is' and 'to-be' process maps and provide strategic recommendations

  • Design business solutions aligned with Industry 4.0 and digital manufacturing trends

• Solution Design & Implementation:

  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications for industrial software implementations

  • Configure and guide implementation of MES, ERP, PLM, SCADA, or similar manufacturing systems

  • Act as the primary liaison between client business stakeholders and technical implementation teams

  • Ensure solutions address core manufacturing challenges while leveraging digital capabilities

• Domain Expertise Application:

  • Provide subject matter expertise in at least two functional areas: Sourcing/Procurement, Production Planning, Shop Floor Operations, Sales & Aftersales, Logistics, or Dealer Management

  • Guide clients on best practices in manufacturing operations and digital transformation

  • Stay current with emerging trends in IoT/IIoT, Smart Manufacturing, Supplier Collaboration, and Customer Experience Management.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential Requirements:

• Education: BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or related field. MCA/MSc candidates with relevant manufacturing domain experience will be considered.

• Experience: 5-13 years of combined experience

• Domain Knowledge: Deep expertise in at least two functional areas:

  • Sourcing & Procurement

  • Production Planning & Control

  • Shop Floor & Production Operations

  • Sales, Distribution & Aftersales Service

  • Logistics & Warehouse Management

  • Dealer & Channel Management
